e n g l i s h: “welcome and goobye”: the original work appears as a background to the picture. it had to be sawn up and left out in the rain because of a lack of space. it had come a long way in the world: it had become princess and muse of the vanished imaginary samir. in the foreground, the view from the car outwards serves to remind us of the moment where the paths of the artist separated from his work. it is unclear how their future destiny shaped itself.
d e u t s c h: die ursprüngliche arbeit befindet sich im hintergrund des bildes. sie musste wegen platzmangel zersägt und im regen stehen gelassen werden. sie hatte es weit gebracht: sie war zur vielfachen prinzessin, zur muse des entschwindenden samir imaginaire geworden. im vordergrund, der blick aus dem auto heraus fungiert als erinnerung an den moment, wo sich die wege des künstlers von seiner arbeit trennten. unklar ist, wie sich ihr weiteres schicksal gestaltete.
